We had not one but two enter our property today in Wilston! I was wary - have seen items on ACA and in the papers about dodgy tree loppers trying to cash in on the storms and people posing as council workers to try to gain access to properties/houses.

These guys were dressed in basic labourers uniforms (fluro & navy shirts) with no identifying marks on the shirts or ID tags. One left a business card - very dodgy looking "Tree Service", an ABN that is registered to a sole operator and no surname or landline number provided. They are apparently "fully insured" though. Pfft. Workcover says no.

I hope my neighbours treated these guys with the same wariness as we did. I'd hate to see them get ripped off/injured/destroy the streetscape.
